The story
At Hollowmere Manor's Halloween masquerade, the clock struck midnight, every candle went out, and when the lights came back the famous Raven's Eye ruby was gone. One of five masked guests took it.
Five suspects, twelve pieces of evidence
Five masked guests are suspects. Players solve the evidence in order; the first letter of each answer is a gold letter, and all 12 gold letters open the vault. Then the team names the thief on the accusation sheet and the host reads the twist ending.

Do I need to print in color?
No. It prints in color or black and white.
Can one person play alone?
Yes. It works for 1 to 6 players, solo or as one team, with a host running the game.
Can the host play along?
The host reads the case briefing and the twist ending and holds the hints and answer key, so the host knows the solution. Everyone else plays.
Is it too hard for younger kids?
It is written for ages 12+. Puzzle-loving 10–11 year olds can play with an adult on the team. It is too hard for under-10s.
Can I use it in a classroom or club?
Yes. The licence covers one class or group per purchase.
Can I print it more than once?
Print what your own group or class needs. Please don't share or resell the file.
